Farmer Education Program – ALBA (Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association)

Six-month ‘field and classroom’ training program in agricultural management and production, with a focus on limited-resource and aspiring farmers. The program runs in both english and spanish and looks to create economic opportunities through sound business planning and organic production practices.

MESA – Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture

Sets up and runs international exchanges to link current innovations with global traditions in sustainable agriculture – promoting land stewardship, localised economies and cultural awareness. Cool!

They have sponsored hundreds of global farm ‘interns’ to train on small and medium scale organic farms in the US, as well as research centres and sustainable supply chain operations.
